In order for you to enjoy your stay at our hotel in the best possible way, we have summarized here our main services and information that may come in handy. We wish you a fabulous holiday!

 

Who we are 

In July 2013 our family began this new adventure, lovingly managing the Casalmenini - Corte Patrizia Farmhouse. We are Carlo and Vittoria , two brothers, and we were born and raised in an international environment; our family had already been operating in the tourism and hospitality sector since 1988. Then we studied in other cities and we specialized in complementary areas. 

Carlo studied computer engineering in Trento. His knowledge has been of great support to speed up and optimize many procedures in the company. He recently earned his second degree in Oenology, in Valpolicella. He worked in the cellar for his internship at Tenuta Masi - Di Serego Alighieri.

Vittoria studied economics and tourism management at the trilingual University of Bolzano and worked in Munich in the field of marketing. She holds the Award in Wine & Spirits WSET 1-2-3 certificate (an advanced level qualification for professionals in the wine sector) and is a yoga teacher with the Yoga Synergy Method, which complements traditional yoga for the modern body. Both certificates were obtained in English.

We both share a passion for travel. As our work is mainly seasonal, we spend most of our time in winter to travel, get inspired and grow. Thanks to our background, the spontaneous attitude to hospitality, the great attention to each guest, the great effort we put into what we believe, appropriate study courses, the continuous participation in refresher workshops, personal passions deeply aligned (art, travel, design, reading, photography, sports, food and wine), the management of this farm has proven to be a great satisfaction and we have been for years Airbnb's Superhost, but what has helped us most to improve you have been YOU. Every year we try to reinvest in the Agriturismo a significant part of the revenue as we believe in evolution and innovation.

Il Casale or Il Casal Menini 

The farmhouse where you will stay is a building of great historical and cultural value, which belonged until 1896 to Lieutenant Colonel Davide Menini, from whom it takes its name. It is immersed in about 20 hectares of land, between the vineyard and the woodland. The area is subject to naturalistic restrictions and the oak tree that stands out inside the property is one of the very few examples of Quercius Crenata from the pre-alpine area; hence our logo. Among these, our oak is the most exemplifying and majestic existing specimen of its species, with its 15 meters of height and 4 meters of circumference. It was discovered in 1986 by Ciro Pollini and Giuliano Sandri. Many botanists praised it as a true monument of our flora. Our restructuring has tried to keep faith with the peculiar architectural aspects of this local agricultural construction (original bricks and stones, exposed beams, fireplaces, etc.). The furniture instead is composed of family objects, belonged to our ancestors, to whom we are deeply attached (carpets, some paintings, mirrors, furniture and objects of decoration). Our goal is to share all this with you, to make you live a unique experience. 

 

Our Wines 

Today, our grapes are used to produce 3 DOC wines: Bardolino, Bardolino Chiaretto and Pinot Grigio. Obviously they are at your disposal; you can taste them, taste them or take them home.  If interested, ask for more information about our other rural tourism activities.

 

The Breakfast of Corte Patrizia

Our breakfast celebrates freedom and local production. You can wake up whenever you want; your breakfast basket is ready in the common room to be enjoyed from 7:30 am. You can have breakfast wherever you like, just put it back in its place by 15:00. We try to offer you the highest quality by selecting trusted producers (if you are curious, ask us). Under the lid there is a list of products, from which you can choose with chalk which you want for the next day. In the common room you will find a detailed explanation of the rules for breakfast.

Check In and Check Out

If your arrival took place during the checkin hours (14:00-18:00) we will have already met you and we will have already presented you in detail the company. Otherwise we will have given you all the necessary instructions to enjoy the first night in peace. We're definitely gonna meet in person. We remind you that the Check Out is until 10:30. 

 

Essential services nearby

In the common room you will find a guide drawn up by us with all our advice and a list of the beaches in the area for consultation. If you want it is also available in PDF version if you want to keep it as a souvenir. There is also a dedicated section on the site, so that you can access useful information even when you are out of the Agriturismo. It will be customized according to the target (active holiday, romantic, family and food and wine lover) and the duration of the trip. Parking

The private car park is located at the entrance of the gate on the left. To enter, simply press the button on both sides. There are no closing times. The parking lot is not guarded, but is located within the property which is accessed through an automatic gate, there are no particular risks, however, we recommend that you still lock the cars, avoiding to insert noisy burglar alarm not to disturb the peace.

 

Payment Terms and Tariffs 

To book your holiday you will normally need to pay a security deposit, which amounts to about 20% of the total amount. This will be retained in case of cancellation. The balance is to be paid either in advance or on site. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted. The price table is available in the common room or if you have any questions, please contact us. Services Included 

Inside the apartment: Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, corkscrew, bath foam and shampoo, towels and sheets, satellite TV, air conditioning (which you also have heating function once you set the temperature), crockery, pots, sponges and towels. In each apartment there is a private bathroom and a kitchen.

Inside the property: A quiet swimming pool (located at the bottom of the block) and a smaller pool (behind the solarium area) where even children can have fun. There is a communal washing machine in the room adjacent to the common room (get the detergent and share it if you feel like it). Books and brochures available in the tavern. There are also infusions, fresh fruit, coffee capsules and homemade cake available daily to guests.  There are also rolls of toilet paper that you can take. There are bicycles available, for information ask us. There is also a microwave. 

There is a yoga room / projection room. For use ask us. At the back of the house there is a vegetable garden, where you can have a look and a garden of spices. There is also a playground for children and a five-a-side football pitch under the pool. A BBQ for cheerful evenings. 

 

Cleaning the apartment 

Once a week we provide a cleaning of the apartment with change of sheets and towels. The service is possible on request at an extra cost. If the apartment is left unclean there will be an extra charge of 20 euro. 

 

Evacuation Plan 

In each room there is a plan for evacuation in case of fire or disaster with operational tips and useful numbers to contact. 

Separate waste collection

We do separate collection: wet, undifferentiated, glass, cardboard, plastic & cans. If the bins in your apartment are full you can empty them in the ecological island behind the hedge near the entrance gate. 

 

General rules of conduct 

- Do not park  the car in the alley facing the farmhouse to allow the passage to any tractors. Except for loading and unloading luggage 

- Do not disturb after lunch (12:00 -14:00) and after dinner (22:00) try to keep the low tones

- Do not make jumps and splashes in the pool if they can disturb and enter clean.

- Collect excrement from your four-legged friends 

- For the egg kettle you need the assistance of a parent for each child 

• It is forbidden to bring into the rooms or common areas people from outside the farm, unless agreed. 

• It is forbidden to smoke in the rooms and in the internal spaces.

We're at the company for most of the day. We can be in different areas of the house or in the vineyard. In case we are with other guests, we try not to be on the phone so as not to interrupt the conversation, as soon as we have time we will give you feedback to any message.
